Our daily life is made up of many encounters. Some long years, others a few hours. All always different.
We met poor and unattached people forced to live on the streets, families who had lost their homes and the elderly without protection, young people fleeing war and poverty.
Our help went to all of them. Because we believe that the dignity of the person is an essential value and a right.
Helping means at least three things for us.
Listen to whoever we have before us, without prejudice and with respect for their history.
Giving assistance through simple and primary goods such as a bed, a hot meal and clean clothes.
Go beyond assistance. Towards a future of autonomy and social integration.
In a word, help restart.
